This is a remote role where the successful candidate must be based in France with a willingness to travel domestically & internationally as required.

After continued growth across the group, we are now looking for a Junior Project Manager to operate, maintain and grow the football and other sports business into our French region.

No two days are the same in this exciting, fast paced role. As part of this role, you will:

  • Work alongside and support the existing team on our various sporting operations

  • Plan and deliver football and other sports operations onsite within and - if necessary - outside your designated region

  • Manage the excellent relationships established with our key clients

  • Manage existing suppliers throughout the year to ensure best possible value creation

  • Identify potential new suppliers and partners

  • Manage the budget for the operation that will be given to you and post event reconciliation

  • Book and invoice individual services requested by our clients

  • Create Proposals (PPT) for upcoming operations

  • Manage operations with our inhouse tool ARENA incl. invoicing

  • As part of this role you will handle the logistics of our sports teams and their entourage coming into their designated region.

Job requirements

 To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have experience in a similar position in sports, sports logistics, or tourism & event management

  • Be able to fit into our team and learn from the experience

  • Be confident managing allocated number of groups & teams independently

  • Show a strong willingness to help and support colleagues

  • Have strong destination knowledge

  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills with suppliers & clients

  • Demonstrate strong language skills (English and French mandatory)

  • Be excellent at multitasking and able to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Have planning and execution skills

  • Have project and time management skills

  • A Degree in tourism / business administration / marketing / event management would be highly desirable but not essential
