Due to an exciting time of growth we are now looking for an experienced Senior Tour Coordinator to join our Manchester based operations team, operating the delivery of tours, ensuring exceptional customer service and seamless coordination across all stages of the tour experience

No two days are the same, but on a typical day you will

  • Take a hands-on approach to running customer service elements of tours, when a business need arises

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication with clients 

  • Provide support, advice & act as an escalation point to tour coordinators

  • Promote the addition of ancillary sales to bookings, and manage communication to supplier team 

  • Assist in implementing operational processes that ensure safety, efficiency, and quality

  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and tailor tour packages accordingly

  • Monitor feedback and service metrics to drive continuous improvement

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, travel regulations, and health & safety standards

  • Handle escalations and resolve issues quickly and professionally

  • Report on tour performance, customer feedback, and operational KPIs to operation managers

  • Collaborate with the operations department as a whole and across the departments/businesses

  • Resolve service issues and ensure timely delivery of all tour components

  • Work on ad-hoc projects and improvements to the operational processes 

  • Support operations manager in ad hoc tasks as required#

  • Travel when required both domestically & internationally

Job requirements

To be successful within this role, our ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous working experience in operations or travel management, ideally within youth or sports sectors.

  • Have experience in a similar operational & customer service focussed role.

  • Be comfortable working within a team environment and supporting team members

  • Demonstrate knowledge of travel logistics, risk management, and safeguarding.

  • Have excellent communication and customer service abilities.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Have the ability to work under pressure and drive robust decisions whilst problem solving.

  • Be able to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.

  • Have proficiency in CRM and tour management software.
